"What's a spork?"

"You need to find something to scoop with, look around for something that can scoop."

"I found a spork, will that do?"

"What's a spork?"

"It's a cross between a spoon and a fork."

"Oh, that'll do, use that."

I was practically rolling around on the floor laughing when I heard those two on Alias. Ah hahahahahaha, so funny. Or else I'm easily amused! :-)

The Office - episode 2

Warning - don't read this unless you've seen it or you don't care about being spoiled. Yes, I admit to LOL at a couple points, but it could be that I just am remembering the BBC one that had a similar theme. I laughed at the point where Michael went to come out of his office and then stepped back in so that he could come out at the same time as the other guy. I also laughed when that Indian woman slapped him - yay! I say, he deserves it. I agree with the NPR guy, Jim? and Pam have good chemistry - but other than that you just can't improve (or compare) to the original. Dwight still creeps me out. And why oh why must they all have the same hairstyles as original. It's ok to mix that up a little bit.

Amos Lee

I wasn't originally gonna talk about this guy, but I think a certain person I know might like his music. He's a singer/songwriter from Philadelphia, PA and has a very nice voice I might add. I haven't gotten his album yet, but I did listen to his set on KCRW earlier today, very good. http://www.kcrw.com/cgi-bin/db/kcrw.pl?show_code=mb&air_date=3/25/05&tmplt_type=show

Winnie the Pooh

Ok, so I'm making this Winnie the Pooh stuffed doll for my friend who's having a baby next month. Actually I'm making a lot of Pooh characters for her. Why you ask, because she asked me to and I can't say no to a friend :-) It's going pretty quickly, using size 10 thread and a 1.40 mm hook. Well I was working on it yesterday at my grandparents house while I was there for family dinner and things seemed to be going pretty good. Until I tried to attach the legs. I got all the way around on thing and realized I was off one stitch. Well, if you know me, you know that I'm a perfectionist so I got a tad upset and yelled out "Oh no" and threw it across the table. Sometimes I wish I were more like my friend Melanie who would just say oh well, and keep going. So I stomped off, got over it very quickly and came back and started ripping it out. Turns out I didn't have to go back that far and everything's back on track. Phew!

Vib Gyor

Ok everyone, this is a great band out of Leeds, England. Dave, the lead singer, asked me to spread the word about them - they are hoping to get signed to a record label soon. He said they seem to have more support here in America than back home. "Please feel free to download all our stuff off the site, and feel free to leave some feedback in our forum. Many thanks, Dave" So, please give them a chance, they're kinda a cross between Coldplay (not that i'm a huge fan of their's, but they're ok) and Sigur Ros. http://www.vib-gyor.com

The unthinkable thoughts of Jacob Green

Ok, I must admit I only read this book because the author is Zach Braff's brother and he recommended it. Let me just language! Now, is there really a need for every other word to be foul Joshua?? Maybe it's just me, but it was highly annoying. I did manage to get through it and if you don't count the language it was ok. I learned a lot more about the Jewish faith than I knew before. There are so many rules!

Hi all!!

This is so exciting, I finally got my blog going!! What do I talk about first? Hmm, I guess it'll have to be The Office. So I watched it last night because I just love the original BBC version and... it wasn't that bad. I mean, it was no where near as good as the original, but it made me laugh so that's a plus. We'll see soon whether anyone else liked it.
